Adding a Youtube Video to an article

adding share code to a joomla article from places like youtube and vimeo using sourcerer code helper

If you do not have Sourcerer installed on your Joomla website, the plugin is available via the Joomla extension directory.

You will find a button below the editing screen if sourcerer is installed
If you believe it is installed but can't see the button, make sure you have activated the plugin after installation

Copy the share code form the source website

1. copy this embed code

Open the Joomla article

1. With the article open, click on the insert code button.

The code window will open

1. Highlight all the text between to 2 tags and delete

Add your new code

1. Paste the embed code
2. Click insert
